Hope's Half Acre Needs Volunteers
While we rely on many outside donors, some of the fresh vegetables in our food boxes are home grown in Hope’s Half Acre. This small vegetable garden provides us with beans, greens, tomatoes, corn, peppers, zucchini, watermelons, and eggplants during the summer
months.
Started by UNM’s Service Learning Department in 2007, Hope’s Half Acre is run by volunteers and welcomes new volunteers. If you are interested, please email projectshareinc@yahoo.com
